Your cruise on board the “Fortuna” begins in Naples in the port of Mergellina. We recommend visiting Naples before you depart. Go to the historic center to discover the small streets and the Neapolitan legends and typical wine and food. Or book a tour to the smart residential areas of Posillipo, Vomero or Chiaia, which are famous for their shopping. After a day visiting the city you can relax and set sail on your charted yacht towards the luxury island par excellence, Capri. Dine in the roadstead under the stacks before going on land and take the cable car to visit the famous Square. Have a drink in the Tiberio bar and then spend the evening in one of the hip clubs.
Another day of your cruise can begin in Capri, bathing with a view of the Stacks, a visit to the Grotta Azzurra, then set off for Ischia and spend the day swimming in the beautiful sea. Spend the evening in the old fishing village of Sant’Angelo, the jewel of Ischia and famous for its square, narrow streets and unusual charm. You can moor your yacht in the roadstead or the port.
Spend a day on Ischia visiting Mount Epomeo, immersed in the luxuriant verdant countryside, where you could lunch in one of the typical restaurants. Spend the evening in the attractive town of Forio with your yacht moored in the port of Casamicciola.
Before leaving Ischia you really should try its magical and regenerating spa waters, and to do this we recommend mooring in the roadstead near Ischia and visiting one of the wonderful spa parks, where the spa water, sea and nature are the perfect combination for a totally relaxing day.
Sailing west from Ischia after just 20 knots is the Island of Ventotene. A simple and quiet island, Ventotene has a crystalline sea and fascinating archaeological finds from Roman times. The island is surrounded by a nature reserve and beautiful seabeds that are perfect for snorkelling. Half a knot away is the small uninhabited island of Santo Stefano, where you could visit the ancient Bourbon prison, sunbathe on the black beach, and in the evening go to the square for a drink and dinner in one of the typical fish restaurants on the island. You can anchor off the coast of Ventotene or in the new port.
After Ventotene, a sail of about 24 knots takes you to the island of Ponza, which is the largest of the pontines and the most fashionable. With its typical Mediterranean architecture, trendy shops and restaurants, dreamy bays and crystalline sea, it attracts many young tourists every year. At sunset the Frontone beach comes to life with the happy hour and dancing on the beach and yachts often decide to moor in front of the bay.
In the morning sail from Ponza to Palmarola, just 5 knots away and a paradise for snorkelling. Uninhabited, Palmarola houses the only restaurant which is reached exclusively from the sea. It takes just 20 minutes to travel round the island, and in a northern bay stop to admire the “Cathedral” a formation of high rocky walls shaped by the waves and wind which recall majestic gothic cathedrals. Your charter can terminate here and take you back to Naples, where it all began.
This is just one of our holiday proposals, which can be changed as you wish to visit other locations in the same itinerary.
